Moyes Will Feel The Wrath Of Manchester United Fans If They Lose To Newcastle

Before the season had kicked off there were naturally worries for the Manchester United fans. Not only had they lost their manager of 27 years – a manager who won everything for them – but they were recruiting a boss who had no real achievements next to his name. Sure, he had a few good seasons at Everton, but did he have what he took to continue the Sir Alex Ferguson reign?

Now, 14 games into the campaign United sit ninth in the league, 12 points behind current leaders Arsenal and the fans are starting to grow tired of the sluggish performances.

After a good run of form, United crashed to a 1-0 loss at the hands of Moyes’ old club Everton at Old Trafford this week, and it wasn’t something that has gone down well with the fans.

Not only could they drop to 10th should they fail to beat Newcastle on Saturday, but I feel it could be the last straw in regards to the fans’ support of Moyes.

There is no fight in the displays, there is no hunger to win games and there certainly isn’t any urgency about them – all of which they were renowned for under Fergie.

Should Newcastle pick up the three points at Old Trafford this weekend then I suspect that Moyes will feel the wrath of the United supporters.
