It has never really worked out for Nani at Manchester United. The Portuguese winger has likened to Cristiano Ronaldo during his early days at the club but while Ronaldo has gone onto be become one of the biggest names ever to play the game, Nani has struggled to get his foot in the door at United. Now, after almost seven years at Old Trafford, it seems he could be on his way, as the Express report that Juventus are keen to force through a move. But what would the Turin side be getting?
Nani is a winger capable of remarkable things, but – like a lot of wide men – he has found it difficult to maintain any sort of consistency.
The 27-year-old recently signed a five-year contract at the club and looked to be ready to start a new chapter under David Moyes, but he’s played just one full game this season and has made what little impact he has off the bench.
He has made eight appearances overall and made 11 key passes, which is impressive, but he’s yet to score or claim an assist.
His shooting stands at 27% and he’s completed just 77% of his attempted passes.
A new club looks like the best option for the former Sporting attacker, but to answer the title, Juventus would be getting a unreliable winger who is capable of some magical moments.
