Arsenal and Manchester United interested in Bundesliga forward, but here is why he should choose the Gunners

According to the Independent, Mario Mandzukic is a target for both Arsenal and Manchester United this month after Bayern Munich sealed a deal for Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski. But if that is the case, which club should he choose from the two? I would suggest Arsenal, and here’s why.

The first reason is the options that both clubs currently have. Manchester United have Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez to choose from, plus Danny Welbeck, and Arsenal are restricted to just Olivier Giroud and the injured Nicklas Bendtner.

A switch to the Gunners would surely offer Mandzukic more playing time than if he was to make a switch to Old Trafford.

Another reason is that Arsenal create a huge amount of chances going forward. Only a few clubs have created more chances than the Gunners so far this season, but the north London side sit above Manchester United in that respect.

The Croatia international is a lethal striker who feeds off scraps in the box, but he can also score spectacular goals as well. He is a tall player who is strong in the air and he is more than willing to take on defenders – all of which makes him a magnificent asset to whoever he is playing for.

For me, though, he would benefit more at Arsenal than he would Manchester United.
