Chelsea Man To Leave For £18m – But Should Mourinho Keep Hold Of Him?

Being a Chelsea fan isn’t always easy. Yes, we have had it easy for the last decade or so, winning countless trophies and signing an abundance of multi-million pound megastars. But when you are a supporter of young players being given a chance, at Jose Mourinho is at the helm of your club, then things are naturally going to frustrate.

The Portuguese manager isn’t the greatest at letting his younger players having a pop at the first team. We have seen that this season with Kevin de Bruyne, who after scoring 10 goals and claiming 11 assists in the Bundesliga last season has returned to Chelsea to make just three bit-part appearances in the Premier League.

It’s a shame, but he may be freed from his frustrations as the Mirror are reporting that he is closing in on an £18 million move to Wolfsburg.

He is a player filled with so much potential it’s scary. He can play anywhere across the frontline and be just as successful and I have been thoroughly impressed with what I have seen of him at the Bridge.

He is quick with his feet and can beat a player, or he can shoot from range, and he can hurt opponents from anywhere on the pitch. I know he will succeed at Wolfsburg and I hope it teaches Mourinho a lesson about his young players.
