Arsenal Launch £12.5m Winger Bid, But What Could He Offer The Gunners?

At 22 years of age, Antoine Griezmann is quickly establishing himself as one of the most impressive winger on the European stage. The Real Sociedad wide man has had an incredible year or so mixing it with the big boys and is now the subject of a £12.5m bid from Arsenal according to the Daily Express. But what could he offer the Gunners?

He’s a small player in terms of stature, but for a winger he’s actually quite tall. His main asset is his impeccable crossing into the box and the way he can take players on. He has also shown that he can score on a consistent basis in the top tier in France.

So far the France international has scored 12 goals in his 16 appearances and has been a huge part of their success this term. He has also completed 17 key passes and claimed two assists, and you can see by the video below just how able he is when going forward.

His ambition is sometimes a downfall of his though, as he has completed only 14 of his 35 dribbles this season and his passing could definitely be improved, but he is an explosive player who can change the course of a game without any warning.

For me, Griezmann would be a solid signing for the Gunners.
