Eden Hazard has been one of the most outstanding Chelsea players this season, both in the Champions League and in domestic competitions. However, with a few things going on behind the scenes, the Belgium international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge. Here are three reasons why Chelsea should be going all out to keep him.

1) Goals

The forward has had a magnificent campaign in terms of goals, and I think he will only get better. Hazard has scored 14 Premier League goals and two in the Championship, which is more than any other Chelsea player this season.

Not bad for a player who is played on the wing, is it?

2) Creativity

As well as goals, Hazard has been prolific in terms of chances created. The 23-year-old makes 2.6 key passes per game, on average, and has claimed seven Premier League assists. He makes things happen in the Chelsea side and if the Blues get a top class centre-forward then he will thrive off that.

We all know he loves him. After spending the season admiring his talents and bigging him up, this can only be seen as a lover’s tiff. The two work well with each other, and to break that up would be disappointing.
