3 Chelsea Players Who Could Leave If Costa Is Signed

According to reports, Chelsea have agreed a £32 million deal with Atletico Madrid for the services of Diego Costa. Here are three players who could leave on the news of his arrival.

1) Fernando Torres

Torres was the original star who arrived from Atletico Madrid and has been continuously linked with a move back to the club where it all started for him. He hasn’t had it easy since he arrived at Stamford Bridge and I think the Chelsea board may just have had enough of him.

He doesn’t hold the physical presence of Costa and certainly doesn’t get as many goals, so I think we will see him depart west London this summer.

2) Eden Hazard

The Belgian likes to be the star man, but with Costa coming into spearhead the attack that won’t be the case. Whereas this season the Chelsea attack was an intricate unit that flowed in and out of each other, Costa will certainly be at the forefront of their attacks and will demand the ball of Hazard at times.

It wouldn’t surprise me, especially after the recent comments from Jose Mourinho and the dip of form, that he looks for a move away.

3) Demba Ba

He is not a striker who will score you to the Premier League title, and I think he will also seek a move with the knowledge that he will fall further down the pecking order.
