Loic Remy has impressed during his season-and-a-bit in the Premier League but hasn’t been given the opportunity to settle at one club for a substantial period of time. The France international represented Queens Park Rangers at the back end of the 2012/13 season before spending an entire campaign at Newcastle last time round.
Now, though, reports are suggesting that Arsenal are after his services on a permanent basis, and Remy is supposedly desperate for the move to go through.
For me it is the perfect fit. He is like nothing Arsenal currently have and it gives him the opportunity to show what he can do in the Champions League.
While Olivier Giroud looks to find gaps between the lines and uses his weight to unsettle defences, Remy is about explosive runs, shots from distance and opening gaps from different angles.
The 27-year-old scored 14 goals in 26 appearances last season and created three assists.
If he was to arrive at the Emirates it would mean that Arsene Wenger would have the choice between Remy, Giroud, Yaya Sanogo, and Lukas Podolski and that would give the manager a nice range of forwards.
