Green Light: Real Madrid Ready To Swoop For Chelsea General – I Think They Should Let Him Go

Real Madrid are usually a club who get who they want when it comes to player recruitment. They have boasted some of the best players in the world, including Brazilian Ronaldo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Raul, David Beckham and most recently Gareth Bale. Zinedine Zidane and Roberto Carlos are also notable names. Now they have apparently been given the green light to swoop for Chelsea midfielder Ramires.

I think Chelsea should let him go.

With Cesc Fabregas coming into the club this week it means there will be even more competition to a tight Chelsea midfield.

The Blues currently have John Obi Mikel, Nemanja Matic, Oscar and now Fabregas that can play in the middle. Ramires is a good player, but he doesn’t specialise in anything.

He provides the aggression and energy that the more creative players need to operate in front of but that can sometimes work against him. His rash tackles and no-nonsense attitude has left his team-mate clearing up his mess at times.

Chelsea’s midfield is now incredibly strong and I think Ramires is dispensable to them.
