GET RID: Three Chelsea Players That Should Be Shown The Door This Summer

Chelsea are in need of a couple of changes this summer, and I think there are a few people who could do with being given the boot. Here are three players that should be shown the Stamford Bridge exit.

1) Demba Ba

The former Newcastle forward had another stinker last season and only weakened his chance of the Chelsea fans taking him as one of their own. He just doesn’t have what it takes to make a big impact on the Premier League, in my opinion.

He’s weak despite his size and his link up play in remarkably poor, and for me the Blues should look to move him on as soon as possible.

Ba scored just five goals last term despite making 19 appearances in the Premier League.

2) John Obi Mikel

He can play a neat pass to the side, and is willing to put in a shift defensively, but watching him in the World Cup for Nigeria this summer made me realised how much of a wasted talent he is.

When he is allowed to burst forward and create chances for his colleagues he looks like the dynamic midfielder that he was hoped to be, and to have him shuttling in the holding position I think is a waste.

3) Fernando Torres

There aren’t any words to describe what a letdown he has been at Stamford Bridge and I for one would be happy never to see him in a Chelsea shirt again. In my opinion, he’s not good enough to be in the squad.
