Predicted Liverpool Lineup To Start Against Aston Villa: Lallana, Balotelli & Markovic Set To Start

Here is a look at how the Merseyside Reds might line-up against Aston Villa this Saturday:-

Simon Mignolet

The Belgian shot-stopper will be thrust straight back into action after a relevantly inactive international break away with Belgium. Despite a few shaky moments in the 3 games prior to the international break, the clean sheet at White Hart Lane must’ve given him a huge boost. Against a tough Aston Villa, the former Sunderland man will be asked to be in perfect condition.

Javier Manquillo

The 20 year old Spanish full-back has been in the news the past few days for good reasons. Having settled into the club really quickly thanks to Brendan Rodgers, the reliable Spaniard offers stability and attacking quality down the right on a regular basis.

Dejan Lovren

The Croatian centre-back will be back after a decent international break playing out the game against Malta. Lovren will have to pick up from where he left off against Spurs if not anything better. Undoubtedly the signing that Rodgers hopes to steady his shaky defence, its time to prove his critics wrong if he has any.

Mamadou Sakho

The French centre-back is an absolute beast of a defender and against Diego Costa while he was away with France he proved just that. The sooner Sakho strikes a partnership with Lovren the better for Rodgers and Liverpool fans.

Alberto Moreno

The rapid 22 year old left back burst onto the scene with a splendid solo goal against Spurs. He certainly has got it in his locker to nail down the left back slot for himself, its down to young Moreno is he can do it consistently.

Steven Gerrard

The recently retired former England skipper enjoyed a holiday while his team-mates were away on international duty. Stevie will be fit and ready for the visit of Villa this Saturday. After a slightly disappointing game against Spurs, the 34 year old Reds skipper will be itching to take the pitch again.

Jordan Henderson

After an injury scare while away on international duty, Henderson will resume his Liverpool campaign just where he left off. The workhorse of the Rodgers’ Red machine is pivotal to the system deployed by the Northern Irishman. With games coming thick and fast for Liverpool in the next couple of weeks, Henderson’s fitness will be key to the team’s performances.

Adam Lallana

Lallana

Lallana is set to make his Liverpool debut finally after all this time, probably operating down the left side of midfield – Lallana will have to slot straight back into the Liverpool system. The Anfield faithful have waited for the debut if the very non-English like English midfielder for quite some time now.

Raheem Sterling

Very few 19 year olds break into the first team at their club. Let alone being a fixture in the starting 11 for both club and country. Raheem Sterling is Liverpool’s and Rodgers’ prized jewel. The versatile attacker will carry the most potent goal threat after team-mate Daniel Sturridge suffered an injury while away with England.

Mario Balotelli

The talented Italian striker will lead the line for Liverpool in the absence of Daniel Sturridge. After a rather quite debut against Spurs, Mario will be eager to get his name on the score-sheet on his Anfield debut.

Lazar Markovic

The 20 year old Serbian will return after a very impressive international break. The pacey attacker is yet to make his first competitive Reds start. The injury lay-off of Daniel Sturridge might benefit young Markovic to get a run of games in the first team.
