Rabiot was the name linked with Arsenal in the dying days of the last transfer window. PSG, who have a wealth of defensive midfielders were unwilling to let him go, even though negotiations reached a point where he was willing to move to Arsenal, but his club rejected the move. He has since been relegated to a bench role for PSG, as he had not signed a contract extension up until a week ago, but has now signed a long-term contract, which will scupper the chances of a move.
