Manchester United Injury News
Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal has revealed that he isn’t sure about Angel Di Maria’s injury that happened on the eve of Christmas and resulted in him missing the game against Newcastle. Di Maria also missed the trip to White Hart Lane.
The Dutchman said, “He was injured in the last training session, he stepped out of the warm-up,” he told reporters. “It was a little bit amazing because he did everything very well. He stepped out and now we have to wait and see the analysis.”
When asked if it was something to do with the hamstring injury that the Argentinian suffered at the end of November, Van Gaal commented, “I don’t think so, I am not a doctor. Before we have a misunderstanding, we have to wait.”
He went on it add that it wasn’t a muscle injury when asked about it and hinted that it’s something to do with his pelvis,
“No, it’s not the muscle injury. It’s more that the pelvis is not in a right relationship with his leg.
“It’s more for the doctor to explain than me.”
