Falcao

According to reports in Daily Star, Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao has made it clear that he is desperate to stay at Old Trafford when his loan contract run out at the end of the year. The former Porto and Atletico Madrid star, who is currently on loan from AS Monaco has revealed that he feels comfortable in the city of Manchester and he has created a good relationship with his team-mates as they welcomed him with open arms.

The Colombian star, who is yet to prove his worth in front of goal has been set a deadline till the end of the season to convince Louis van Gaal and other Co. to sign him on a permanent deal. But the Colombian had made it clear that he wants to stay and called the Premier League more attractive and competitive than Ligue 1 in France.

“I’m good. My family are comfortable. We’re enjoying life in Manchester and here at the club. “The people have been great with me, with my family. We’re happy and very grateful. Right from the start, they [my colleagues] welcomed me. They supported me and helped me with whatever I needed. They are a really humble group of players, really decent and, well, I was taken aback by how kind they’ve been. It’s more attractive than the French league. Defenders are stronger and more aggressive. In a good way, you know? It’s intense and, well, overall just more physical,” he said.

Falcao was injured when he came to Manchester on the deadline day of the summer transfer window and when he returned from injury, he has scored only three goals and has looked scratchy in few matches. The 28-year old has a bit over four months to prove his worth to van Gaal and convince him to pay his asking price of £43m.
