Real Madrid’s superstar defender Sergio Ramos, who has been recently linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabéu has now hinted that he wishes to make a move to the Premier League. Reports suggest that the Spanish international has urged big guns, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester Untied to show some interest in a possible move and take him away from Spain. The 28 year old World Cup winning defender had previously admitted that he loves English football and this means, he could be making a possible move to one of the big Premier League clubs, depending on how things go.

Ramos was responsible for conceding the penalty against Atletico Madrid in the game which Real Madrid lost 2-0. It was the first leg of the Copa del Rey tie with the second leg still to be played soon. Ramos also had mentioned some time ago that he loves the style of football and refereeing in England. In an interview Ramos told Spanish paper AS, “The only thing I will say is that with every passing day I prefer the English Premier League. What am I talking about? Obviously not the ball-boys, the style of play, the refereeing. People enjoy watching that competition. When you lose it’s easy to focus on the refereeing decisions.” This positive statement from Ramos has given these well renowned clubs of European football high hopes of a successful deal with the defender.

The Real Madrid man recently completed 300 appearances for the Spanish giants and may be the man to capture in the January transfer window. Now, which team takes a strong step forward towards signing Ramos and striking a deal with Real Madrid remains to be seen. For the time being, it is just clear that temptation of playing in the Premier League will be too much for Ramos to resist for too long.
