Transfer Blow For Manchester United As Spanish Giants Set To Make A Staggering £77m Bid For Serie A Star

Spanish giants and Champions League holders Real Madrid are all set to make a £77m bid for Juventus star Paul Pogba who was a prime target for Primer League teams including Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. Pogba has been dismissing all reports till now of a move to England, but recently a statement from his agent confirmed that he will leave the Italian Champions one day. The 21 year old French midfielder who joined Juventus in 2012 from Manchester United has made 78 appearances for the Italians and managed to score 16 times for them.

In an interview agent Mino Raiola opened up a bit about the Frenchman’s transfer saga to Italian outlet Mediaset. He stated, “I knew his talent, but when one moves to Italy so young you don’t expect them to establish themselves immediately. He’s grown rapidly, even I didn’t expect it. Will he stay in Italy? No. It will be up to them [Juventus], we have renewed his contract, we’re happy with Juventus but when the time is right to leave we’ll take that opportunity. We’ll see, I don’t know when the right time will come.”

Now recent reports suggest that Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has acknowledged that he has been approached by every European club in order to this amazing star. In an interview, he said, “What was a promising player has become a reality. Every European club is watching him and have been in contact with us. We, however, want to have a strong team made up of champions. We have an important player in Pogba and we don’t have a need to sell him.” These two emerging reports have given a new direction to the already dynamic transfer saga and with interest now from Spain, the European giants may “splash the cash” to complete a deal for him. The youngster has been quite impressive in Italy and this interest from Real could be a set-back for the ambitions of the Premier League sides who were in the hunt for the Juventus powerhouse.
