This news comes after the Red Devils completed an 18-month contract for Salford City defender Sadiq El Fituori. The 20-year old will now play under Warren Joyce’s Under-21 squad. The Libyan right-back made his first team debut for the Northern Premier League club Salford City earlier this month. In spite of not playing competitive football, Fitouri has impressed everyone during his trial at the Aon Training Complex which lasted around a week earlier in the season. With that, Fituri has earned a full time move to the 20 time Premier League Champions.

Fitouri has also quoted that this is honestly a dream come true for him and thanked Salford City for the chance and the faith they had in him. He is excited for his time at Old Trafford. He is looking forward to what happens next and to be given the opportunity to do so at Manchester United is unbelievable.

Fitouri previously came through the ranks with United’s derby rivals and Premier League defending Champions Manchester City, where he failed to make the grade. His current club Salford City is owned by the Class of 92’s which includes former Manchester United legends like Gary Neville, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
