Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic will decide at the end of this season whether to make the move to Liverpool or not. The Reds are looking for a long-term replacement for skipper Steven Gerrard, who departs for LA Galaxy at the end of the season and manager Brendan Rodgers wants a swoop for Pjanic of late. A recent report claimed that the Merseyside club are lining up a £25m move for the Bosnian international, although it is believed that the Serie A side have priced him at £37m.
The Express further claims that Pjanic is unsure about the move to Anfield, due to the uncertainty about the Reds’ Champions League status for next season. Pjanic has been offered a deal of about £160,000 a week by the Premier League side, but the 24-year-old former Lyon man could reject the move if the Reds fail to finish in the top four Rodgers’s side have been performing superbly since Christmas and are currently four points behind Southampton, who are at fourth.
