REPORT: Chelsea superstar still being targetted by Liverpool

Premier League giants Liverpool are one of three teams trying to complete a possible move for Chelsea’s benched goalkeeper Petr Cech, according to the Daily Star on Sunday. The Reds are still considering to have alternative options for current number one Simon Mignolet, despite a major improvement in his performances between the sticks for the Anfield side, over the past few weeks.

Cech, who is out-of-favour at Chelsea at the moment, is not only wanted by Brendan Rodger’s side but Italian giants Napoli and Roma are also interested and are hoping to complete a move soon. A move could be on the cards, if the Merseyside club do eventually ensuring a Champions League spot for next season, as the 32 year old, wants to play in the competition next season.
