Premier League giants Arsenal are still not giving up in their pursuit of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, and will once again try their luck ahead of the summer transfer window. The French international has been linked with a move to the Emirates for quite sometime now and Arsene Wenger wants to add his compatriot as an ideal reinforcement to his midfield.
The 25-year-old has been performing such a key role for the Saints this season, who are looking to challenge for a spot in Europe next season. Boss Ronald Koeman has dismissed any interest in him and ensured that the south coast club should keep a hold of their player in the near future. However, according to the Mirror, the Gunners will return to chase the Frenchman, especially after Barcelona entered the race for another of the Wenger’s midfield target Lars Bender. If the north London side do manage to claim a Champions League spot for next season, Schneiderlin could be on his way to Arsenal soon.
