Burnley are looking to cash in on Danny Ings, as the forward has rejected a recent bid from La Liga side Real Sociedad, for a move to Anfield. The newly promoted Premier League side are keen of making more money if the free-agent striker joins the Reds as they would have to pay around £6m in compensation while he would only cost the Spaniards, a mere £300,000. The 22 year old flew to Spain this month as David Moyes’ side have set him as a target, with the youngster out of contract this summer.
However, Ings has now set his heart on a move to the Merseyside at the end of the current campaign. Tottenham, Manchester City and surprisingly league leaders Chelsea have all been in the chase for the Burnley hitman. Brendan Rodgers would surely be interested to add yet another young talented striker to his side, after Liverpool were knocked out of the Europa league by Besiktas on Thursday night.
