Liverpool On Big Alert As Summer Midfield Target Is Unhappy At Spanish Outfit

Liverpool could once again be set to make a move  for Atletico Madrid midfielder Arda Turan, according to Spanish website Fichajes. The 28 year old Turkish international was heavily linked with a move to Anfield over the past two transfer windows and has put in an impressive set of performances for the current La Liga champions.

Now, the Premier League giants have been alerted that Turan wants to leave the Spanish capital and a move to England could surely be on the cards for him. The Reds are in need of more attacking options, after being knocked out of the title race and all cup competitions this season, apart from the FA Cup, which is their last hope of winning some silverware. Brendan Rodgers would surely want to change that next season, if he wishes to retain his job at the club and would try to secure a Champions League spot as well.
