Liverpool are looking to sign Manchester City forward Stefan Jovetic in the summer. The City superstar has been frustrated at the lack of regular playing time this campaign and Wilfried Bony’s arrival at the club now has dented his hopes further. Bony completed a £30m move in January from Premier League rivals Swansea City and has featured quite a bid in City’s last few games. According to the Metro, 25 year old Jovetic could be looking for a summer move away from the Etihad, if things remain the same.
On the other hand, Liverpool manager Brendan Rogers is keen on adding yet another attacker to his side, as the future of Liverpool’s summer signing Mario Balotelli still hangs in the balance. Jovetic has not seen regular first-team football since his move to Manchester in a £22million deal, from Italian side Fiorentina in 2013. He has barely featured in a total of 25 league games, however, has netted on eight occasions, impressing onlookers.
