Manchester United currently find themselves at fourth spot in the Premier League table, just one point behind third place Arsenal and two points behind second place Manchester City. The Red Devils have been knocked out of the League Cup and the FA Cup as well and are potentially out of the title race as well. With such a crisis at hand, Dutch manager Louis van Gaal has tried to do his best to work with the United players, since his arrival in the summer.
Further recent reports are now suggesting that former boss Sir Alex Ferguson is trying to convince Real Madrid superstar winger Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Spain and make a move back to Old Trafford. Fergie caught up with the 30 year old and had dinner with him after watching their embarrassing 4-3 Champions League home defeat to German outfit Schalke last Tuesday. The Sun reported on Sunday that the two talked about a certain set of things, including Ronaldo’s possible return to the Premier League as well. However, whether or not, the move does indeed materialize, remains to be seen.
