Arsenal superstar Theo Walcott has struggled for almost 15 months with injury, after suffering a cruciate ligament injury against Tottenham in January of 2014. The winger has not only missed the action at club level, but also was unable to compete in the 2014 World Cup. The 26 year old forward has really struggled to make an impact since his return to Arsene Wenger’s first team.
I don’t normally comment on false stories about myself but reports about contract demands & bust-ups with the boss are complete nonsense…

Further speculations regarding his contract have forced Walcott to finally respond via Twitter to completely deny the false reports which have been spreading around like wildfire. The former Southampton star also denied reports of any sort of problem between him and Arsene Wenger and stated those claims were ‘complete nonsense’.
There have been no contract talks as yet and my current focus is not on contracts but on doing my best for Arsenal FC.

Walcott has made just three Premier League starts this season. Wenger now opts to play recent signings Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez on the wings instead. Walcott’s current deal is set to expire in just over a year and he has further made it clear that no new contract talks have begun, as he focuses on playing well for Arsenal.
