Current French champions Paris Saint-Germain are all set to offer Premier League giants Manchester United their money back for Argentine superstar Angel Di Maria. The Ligue 1 outfit have stepped up their chase for the Argentine international and have made it clear they will offer big money. The 27 year old winger has struggled to make a long term impact since his £59.7m record breaking move from Real Madrid last summer.

PSG wanted to sign him last season and will once again look to “splash the cash” for his services and offer Di Maria an escape route from Old Trafford. The Argentine has not suffered due to poor form in recent months, but his home was raided too, which has been playing at the back of his mind. Louis Van Gaal has assured that he won’t stand in Di Maria’s way if the attacker wants to leave and could use the cash from his sale to further rebuild the squad. This could encourage PSG to hold talks with both club and player, as they have set their sights on the former Real Madrid man.
