According to recent reports from the Mirror, Premier League giants Arsenal have finalized a deal for midfield superstar Morgan Schneiderlin, who will look to join the Gunners at the end of the season. The north London side have been scouting the 25-year-old Frenchman who plays for the Saints and are hoping to bring to the Emirates, once the current campaign is over. The French boss wanted to add more quality to midfield, after his side failed to impress in the Champions League and though are placed at second in the Premier League, might not prove much of a challenge to leaders Chelsea.
However, it seems now that the French boss has wrapped up a deal and a fee of about £15m has been agreed upon. Domestic rivals Tottenham failed to bring the midfield powerhouse to White Hart Lane last season. Now, with the Saints unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, Schneiderlin might consider a move to play in Europe’s top competition. The current FA Cup champions need yet another specialist holding midfielder though the emergence of Francis Coquelin has surely helped. In addition to that, adding someone as good as Schneiderlin, would surely him Arsenal win titles, in the near future.
