2. Raheem Sterling
Raheem Sterling has represented England in the World CupĀ and was a shining light in the campaign. His contract wrangle with Liverpool has affected his reputation, but he has been surging on the wing for Liverpool, inspiring the team forward and helping the team win games. He has shown admirable tenacity to go through tackles unscathed, put his head down and keep moving. With seven goals, seven assists and a pass completion rate of 80%, he has come a long way from the player who broke through in a horror season in 2012-13, lighting up the pitch with delightful passing and constant movement on the flanks which left defenders stranded. He carries the same swagger, but he has matured over time.
