Newly crowned Premier League champions Chelsea have set their sights on a summer move for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette who currently has a price tag £25m to his name. The north London side are looking to add more quality players to their attack, as they hope to win the Champions League next season.
Manager Jose Mourinho is expected to make a bid of around £15m and use French striker Loic Remy as part of the deal to beat rivals Manchester United to his signature. The Portuguese boss feels the need to add backup for Spanish international Diego Costa, who has been out of action due to frequent injury problems.
The 23-year-old French international has an impressive 31 goals to his name in all competitions during the course of this term. Lacazette made his debut for Lyon’s first team in 2010 and has made a total of 137 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit. He has managed to score a tally of 51 goals in total for them as well.
