DONE DEAL? Colombian Superstar Signs Pre-contract Agreement With Arsenal

Reports suggest that Colombian international Jackson Martinez will join Arsenal from his current club Porto in the summer, according to the recent reports coming from the Portuguese press. The 28-year-old superstar is wanted by a list of big clubs across the European continent including the Gunners.

Arsene Wenger knows that his squad is in need of more strikers and Martinez could be the right man to do the job for him. Also, newspaper Jordal di Noticias claims that the attacker has signed a “principle agreement” with the north London club though a move to the Emirates will only be completed once the transfer window opens again.

Martinez has had yet another successful season in Portugal, scoring 28 goals in 38 appearances in all competitions.

Further, he has a buyout clause of £24.8m in his current contract and Porto would surely want to receive more than that, in order to let him move to England.
