According to a report from Spanish media outlet Cuatro, the chase for Sergio Ramos’ signature is still on after it was stated that the Real Madrid defender was in Seville for a wedding. The Spanish international is wanted by Premier League giants Manchester United and according to recent claims by Marca, it was said that the centre-back wants to leave the Bernabeu after falling out with club president Florentino Perez.
The Red Devils have also informed the former European champions that they won’t let David De Gea leave Old Trafford unless they are willing to let Ramos leave Spain.
The two clubs are at present engaged in an intriguing stand-off and negotiations in order to complete a deal are still going on.
In a recent interview when asked by a reporter, “How are the negotiations going?”
Ramos was quick to respond dismissing all rumours and said, “I’m not negotiating with anyone.”
United boss Louis van Gaal is looking to add more defensive options to his current squad and will look to sign the 29-year-old superstar this summer.
