Arsenal are looking to make a summer move for Borussia Dortmund winger Marco Reus, as a potential replacement for England international Theo Walcott at the Emirates. The Gunners are hoping to sign the German superstar after Arsene Wenger expressed his interest in the 25 year old, ahead of the summer transfer window. The Frenchman wants to add more high quality options to his midfield and defence, mainly at the center and could possibly look for an additional goalkeeper as well.
Reus can easily fit into Wenger’s 4-2-3-1 and is currently regarded as one of the best young players in Europe. The German has a great goal scoring record to his name and has managed to score 53 goals in 111 games for the Bundesliga strugglers and has been a regular for the national side as well. The winger missed the World Cup in 2014, due to an unfortunate ankle injury, which kept him out for months.
Premier League leaders Chelsea want Reus too and an intense race could be expected in the upcoming days to finalize a deal for the German international, as both sides look to add more quality additions to their squad.
