Premier League giants Arsenal and Tottenham are all set to battle it out for Espanyol defender Hector Moreno. According to recent reports from Italy, the English duo will face opposition from Serie A champions Juventus, who are keen on signing the 27-year-old center-back as well. The defensive superstar has been restricted to just 12 La Liga appearances this season and has been mainly on the sidelines due to injury.
A knee injury in last year’s World Cup kept him out for first-half of the current campaign, however, he the north London rivals are keeping a close watch on the player. Both sides could look to make their move, at the end of the season with the intention of adding more quality to their defensive lines. The player is currently priced at about £5m and an intense race could be expected between the two clubs, to add the Mexican international to their squad.
