Things got really heated up yesterday, following some controversial comments by Gonzalo Higuain’s brother, his agent, who accused Napoli owner De Laurentiis of trying to sell the Argentine international this summer. This messed up things to a certain extent with the Serie A club and now reports from Calciomercato claim that Higuain himself might force a move out of the club.
Further, his brother Nicolas is also said to be working on some sort of a deal, though things are not too clear yet.
If these rumours are true, it could partially be due to the fact that the Naples club failed to qualify for the Champions League for the upcoming season.
The former Real Madrid striker has been impressive with the Italian side, scoring 35 goals in the 69 games he has played since joining them in 2013.
On the other hand Arsene Wenger feels that Arsenal are in need of more attacking options and wants to add the superstar striker to his squad, as he aims to win the Premier League title.
