From Russia with an absolute screamer (Video)

With this week’s contender for goal of the week we have an effort from Martin Jiranek of Terek Grozny who are fourth in the Russian Premier League.

Now, I don’t know too much about the Russian Premier League nor much about Martin Jiranek but I do know that it takes a great deal of skill and technique to score a goal of this quality.

To beat the keeper from not far off the half way line with a belter such as this is something to be admired. Additionally, it was the equaliser and Grozny went on to beat Kuban Krasnador away from home.
