I have finally done it!!! I have managed to correctly guess the score line of a match for the first time and for the second time in the same week. I correctly guessed the score for Southampton v Fulham and West Ham v Arsenal. Because of my success I wanted to predict the Premier league scores again this week, but due to the International break I have relegated myself back down to predicting the Conference Premier fixtures this weekend.
I managed to get 9 points from last week’s predictions, that is by far my best score so far. So to the Conference and hopefully I can get on better than I did last time I predicted the fixtures in this league.
Macclesfield v Newport (1-2)
Newport are top of the table and looking strong, so I could see them picking up an away win. However Macclesfield aren’t far from the play-offs so it will be a close game.
Telford v Grimsby (0-2)
I have to back my local team and with their unbeaten away record I feel Grimsby are capable of picking up three points.
Barrow v Dartford (2-3)
Dartford are in the play-offs and looking a good team, whilst Barrow are struggling in mid table and can’t seem to find any consistency.
Ebbsfleet v Alfreton Town (1-1)
Ebbsfleet haven’t won in six matches but Alfreton aren’t far from the bottom so I could see this being a draw.
Hereford v Braintree (2-2)
These teams have a similar inconsistency of form and are near one another in the table so a draw is on the cards.
Luton v Nuneaton (3-1)
Luton are well in the play-offs and Nuneaton are struggling in the relegation zone so I could see a convincing win at home for Luton.
Mansfield v Forest Green (1-0)
I’m predicting a shock on the cards as Forest Green have lost the last two games and Mansfield have only lost once at home this season.
Woking v Southport (3-2)
Predicting a high scoring game as plenty of goals have been scored and conceded at Woking so far this season.
Wrexham v Lincoln City (2-0)
Wrexham are pushing Newport at the moment for top spot, where as Lincoln are in the relegation zone one week and out of it another. Wrexham should keep their impressive run going.
Stockport v Kidderminster (2-1)
Stockport should claim the points here as Kidderminster have a poor away record in the league this season.
Gateshead v Cambridge (1-1)
Gateshead haven’t won in six games and Cambridge are playing away so a point a piece will probably be the outcome.
Hyde v Tamworth (1-3)
Hyde are at the foot of the table with only one win. With Tamworth pushing for a play-off spot I can see the visitors winning this one.
