With David Moyes taking over Manchester United on a six year deal in the summer, we take a look at three players who could be heading out the exit doors.
1) Patrice Evra
The Frenchman has been a staunch servant for Manchester United since his switch to Old Trafford in 2006 and has had a brilliant season again this year. However, Evra is seriously losing his pace and as David Moyes takes the reins it is widely expected that he will make a move for Everton left-back Leighton Baines. The 28-year-old Toffees man has been exceptional this year and has a few years on the Frenchman age wise, and if you compare the two’s credentials then there is only one man who comes out on top.
Baines has scored five goals, Evra four. Baines has made 111 chances, Evra 24. Baines has won 62% of his duels, Evra 60%.
2) Anderson
The Brazilian midfielder has struggled immensely since arriving from Porto in 2007 and it is looking likelier and likelier that this will be the summer in which he departs. There are whispers that Moyes is keen on offering Marouane Fellaini a chance at the Red Devils, and if this is true then Anderson has next to no chance of getting first team action. He is fighting for a place with Paul Scholes, Tom Cleverley, Michael Carrick, Shinji Kagawa, Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher when he is back.
Anderson has played 15 games this term, scored one goal, made 11 chances, has a pass accuracy of 87% and a shot accuracy of 57%.
3) Wayne Rooney
For the second time in his Manchester United tenure Rooney has asked to leave the club. It has been reported that Rooney and Moyes have their differences from their time at the Toffees and as soon as the news broke that the old Scottish gaffer was on his way to Manchester Rooney wanted out. A move to Chelsea or Bayern Munich has been suggested.
Rooney has 12 goals in his 27 games this season, created 49 chances, has a shot accuracy of 56% and a pass accuracy of 83%.
