New Manchester United boss David Moyes is looking to secure his first signing at Old Trafford in the shape of Southampton youngster Luke Shaw, who has impressed us all in his debut season in the Premier League.
The 17-year-old has a massive choice ahead of him in the next few weeks, and it revolves around three topflight clubs.
Choice A is to stay at St Mary’s and continue his progression with the club he has been with since he was eight years old and continue to build his strong relationship with fans of the Saints. After all, how much money does a teenager really need?
Option B is a switch to Manchester United and link up with the champions as they start their new era without the wily old Scot Sir Alex Ferguson. He is likely to be offered a huge pay rise should he travel oop north and have an incredible chance of picking up the trophy next season.
The final option, so it seems, is a move to the club he has supported all his life; Chelsea. Shaw was born in the capital and his previously declared his passion for the Blues so perhaps this is the most likely should he feel like a change.
Personally, having no affiliation with any of these sides nor the player I would like to see him stay at Southampton for at least a few more seasons. Then, depending on what happens between then a move may look the best option.
