As a rule, football fans often go mental when a young player is making moves in the game. There were times last season when the whole of Europe was fascinated by just how good Italy international Stephan El Sharaawy was and how good he could actually become, considering he was only 19 and what not.
He went onto finish the season with an impressive 16 Serie A goals and was the main man at the San Siro, a title which he has since had to hand over to Mario Balotelli since his arrival in the Italian capital.
Now, as a result of the lack of game play, the Daily Star are reporting that the 21-year-old is looking for a way out of the club, with Premier League trio Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all keeping an eye on the £25m player, as well as Liverpool. But what will they be getting for their money?
This season he has only appeared twice and not had the chance to do much with the time he was given, but looking back to last term you can see how effective he was.
Able to play up top or on either flank, El Sharaawy carved 56 chances for his team-mates. His pass accuracy stood at 84% – which is incredible for a front player – and he hit the target with 66% of his shots, the best in the Milan squad.
He offers a delicious ball delivery, a willingness to run at people and a tactical brilliance that most Italians have drilled into them. Should a move transpire, then this young man has a lot to offer.
