His name may be difficult to say, but the Mirror are reporting that Richairo Zivkovic could be making his way over to Manchester City with the Etihad side keen on snapping him up. He has already caught the eye of Liverpool with his outstanding performances in Holland so here is a short snippet of what the City fans can expect from the 17-year-old should he make the switch to their club.
The teen has drawn comparisons to Arjen Robben because he plies his trade at the club the Netherlands international started his career at, but also because of his style of play. Zivkovic is a forward who enjoys receiving the ball to feet and running at people, but also cutting inside from the wide areas and having a pop at goal.
He is lanky in physique, however, unlike Robben, and covers ground in a remarkable time. He also holds the strength of a player who you’d usually see in the central areas of midfield which is a huge asset up top.
His versatility would surely be welcome at City, as Sergio Aguero, Alvaro Negredo and Edin Dzeko all competing for striker roles, with Stevan Jovetic also flexible, and the teen would certainly give the club something to get excited about for the future.
In his 12 Eredivisie appearances this season he has scored four goals and made one key pass, while holding a 73% shot accuracy.
