Strength has never really been an important factor for me while playing Fifa. I have always opted for speed so I could outpace my opposition and get in behind defences. Strength is something that I somewhat overlook, even in the more defensive positions, but the new Fifa has turned my head somewhat. Here I look at the top 10 players on the newest edition of the game.
Think of strong players and your mind may switch to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, who holds an incredibly powerful torso, Yaya Toure, who is a mountain of a man, or maybe even Hulk, because, well – he’s called Hulk.
However, not one of those players are listed in the top 10, and you may be surprised with a few who are. There is no doubting the top spot though, as Gillingham’s Adebayo Akinfenwa is a walking, talking ball of muscle.
Some other familiar names include George Elokobi of Wolves, Wilfried Bony of Swansea and Daniel van Buyten of Bayern Munich.
Without further ado, here are the top 10, along with the club they play for and their strength rating.
1) Adebayo Akinfenwa – Gillingham – 97
2) Felipe Baloy – Santos Laguna – 96
3) George Elokobi – Wolves – 95
4) Wilfried Bony – Swansea – 94
5) Lacina Traore – Anzhi – 94
6) Achille Emana – Cruz Azul – 94
7) Ariel Nahuelpan – U.N.A.M – 94
8) Daniel Van Buyten – Bayern Munich – 94
9) Moustapha Sall – Saint-Etienne – 94
10) Miguel Aceval – Huachipato – 94
