Fulham’s start of the season has been nothing short of appalling so far and the fans have just about had enough of it. They currently sit inside the bottom three and don’t look as though that is going to change any time soon, so with Martin Jol’s headed wanted across west London and their next outing being against London rivals West Ham, I think that this could be the weekend that the Dutch coach finally gets the boot.
There is a possibility that the Cottagers drop to the bottom of the league this weekend should results go against them – something few imagine considering the amount of talent in their squad.
However, Dimitar Berbatov has failed to find any sort of form in front of goal, Brede Hangeland has fallen to piece at the back and the rest of the team have done nothing to show the Fulham fans that they can pull the capital club up the table.
They’ve scored 12 goals this season in their 12 games but conceded a whopping 21 at the other end, and should they lose to a West Ham side who have been playing with no strikers for the last couple of weeks then I can’t see any other result in Jol getting the boot.
