After falling to a 3-2 against Stoke last time out in the Premier League, Chelsea have the opportunity to put it right as they host 19th place Crystal Palace this weekend. Stamford Bridge is a fortress under Jose Mourinho but the Eagles have found some good form under new boss Tony Pulis. Here are three things that I would do if I was Jose Mourinho.
Firstly I would try and sort out the dodgy frontline by sticking Andre Schurrle up top.
Not only does it act like a wake up call to the others, but he has the speed and the composure to really hurt Palace at the back. The Germany international scored twice last time out.
Secondly I would be bold and push Frank Lampard up the pitch. Most of this season we have seen Ramires and Lamapard playing in the holding roles in midfield but against Palace it may not need two.
If he does play them both, then I would allow Lampard a free role and allow him to burst forward whenever he gets the chance.
Lastly, I would focus my attacks through the middle. Palace have conceded a huge amount of goals already this season and are vulnerable down the centre, which is also where the Blues have created most of their chances. It seems simple, but it could be deadly.
