According to reports, Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos is ready to make the move from Bavaria to Old Trafford. The same reports say that his contract negotiations with Bayern have stalled and that he has told people that he wants to make the move happen, and I think it is a good move for all parties.
Firstly, the article says that Manchester United are willing to pay up to £40 million, which is a decent amount of money for someone who is not apparently seen as a key player for the first team.
Kroos is a fine player who is undoubtedly able to cut it at the top. His touch is impeccable, his vision even more so and the way he can pick a pass anywhere on the pitch is brilliant to watch.
The Germany international has completed 93% of his passes this season between the Bundesliga and Champions League, while he has claimed six assists and scored three goals.
He would fit in brilliantly at Manchester United in my opinion and David Moyes must go all out to sign him. He adds something they don’t currently have and improves the roster already there, so for me it’s a no-brainer if he becomes available.
