With rumours of Jose Mourinho fielding a Chelsea team full of youngsters against Liverpool on Sunday, here are four young players who could get a run out against the Reds.
1) Nathan Ake
The 19-year-old has three first team appearances to his name so far since making his switch from the Feyenoord youth set up, and provides the club with a lot of flexibility.
Ake is primarily a central defender, but can also be deployed in the centre of midfield and over on the left of defence.
2) Ruben Loftus-Cheek
An athletic box-to-box midfielder, Loftus-Cheek has massive potential. He has been at the club since the U8s and has been impressing in the youth set up ever since.
Although he has picked up a few injuries, the teenager is now knocking on the door of the first team.
3) Lewis Baker
With an FA Cup appearance to his name this season, Baker is surely one of the first in line should Mourinho field an inexperienced side.
The 18-year-old is a very technical player and has been dubbed the next Frank Lamapard, and even scored a wonder goal against Arsenal U21s recently, which you can see below.
4) Tomas Kalas
Having spent two years on loan at Vitesse, Kalas is probably the player who would fit in best in to the first team. The 20-year-old Czech republic international plays as a full-back, on either side, and has one Chelsea first team appearance to his name.
