Manchester United are a shambles right now, and I think it will be some time before we see them challenge for the Premier League title again. With that in mind, here are three players who should quit the club this summer and look for a new adventure in another side.
1) Javier Hernandez
The Mexican is far too good to be warming the bench for another season. Although he hasn’t kicked up a fuss about being used as a substitute, it can’t be good for his confidence.
He scored 21 goals in 28 before he arrived at United, then hit 20 in his first season at United, but as his game time has fallen so has his goal count. He has since scored 39 goals in three seasons and is used as a substitute.
2) Shinji Kagawa
The playmaker is not being used properly at Old Trafford and it is sad to see him being pushed into the background. When at Borussia Dortmund he was a central player who created the chances for the strikers, but now he is stuck out in the wide position. When he gets a game at all, that is.
3) Tom Cleverley
To put it frankly, Cleverley is a bit of a laughing stock right now. He has not fulfilled his potential and I think he needs a move to do that, or at least come close to doing that. Perhaps a move to a mid table club would be a good idea.
