When Manchester United let Paul Pogba leave the club on a free, many fans could sense that it was the wrong decision. The young Frenchman seemed to tick all the boxes of what United needed from a midfielder, yet they promoted Tom Cleverley to the first team. Now, having had two successful years at Juventus, reports suggest that he could be on his way out and heading back to the Premier League.
The same reports say that Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping an eye on the powerful midfielder, and I think he should choose the latter.
Imagine a midfield of Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba, with Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian ahead of them. Matic is one of the most intelligent central players in the European game and is also one of the most composed, so to combine that with the sheer athleticism of Pogba would be an shrewd move in my eyes.
Pogba also scores goals – he scored nine this season for the Turin club and created seven.
Jose Mourinho should be doing all he can to land the giant midfielder, in my opinion.
