Portsmouth FC: The Rebuild starts now

There were celebrations in the City of Portsmouth yesterday as the club finally exited administration for the first time since February 2012, they have repeatedly faced the threat of liquidisation in the past 14 months but they have survived at times by the slimmest of margins.

In recent years, we have seen the 4-2-3-1 formation used more and more alongside the breakthrough of a number of ‘modern’ full backs who provide great width in the attacking third in order to stretch defences and allow creative midfielders more space to work in.
