The 21st January sees Libya take on co-hosts Equatorial Guinea in the opening game of the 2012 African Cup of Nations. This time last year, Libya was a country under the dictatorship of Colonel Gaddafi, a stark contrast today from a side who arrive at this year’s competition donning shirts with the National Transitional Council flag of Libya on their chests.
