Revealed: Jose Mourinho’s Midfielder To Play For The Next Few Games

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has now confirmed that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will start the next few games after the international break for his side. The 19-year-old midfielder is presently part of the England Under-21 squad to play against Kazakhstan in Coventry in the upcoming week. However, speculations say that he could be part of the Blues’ squad to face Aston Villa on his return to domestic football, which attracts more interest from the Chelsea fans across the globe.

The west London side are not performing well at the moment and are currently placed at 16th in the points table, with the Portuguese boss all set offer the bright young star a chance to establish himself in midfield.

He stated, “Clearly, it is time. Not to play four, five or six kids – some are not ready – but Ruben is a case where he’s more ready, and if everything goes normal during the next two weeks, he’s a player to start the next game and a run of matches, to try and get that stability as a first-team choice. Not to save the season. The profile of the moment and the profile of the young players makes it a good moment.

In difficult moments, what’s the best thing? Can the most experienced players cope better? When I don’t play John Terry everyone says: “Why don’t you play the captain? The team needs the captain’s leadership and personality. With Ruben, it is exactly the same. Ruben, Matic, Fabregas or Ramires? Who can cope the best with the pressure? Maybe with the situation so negative for us, the young player feels less pressure than when the team is top of the league.”

Manchester United Manager Reveals He Was Shocked By Arsenal

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has now raised questions about the “will to win” of his players after a shocking 3-0 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday. The Red Devils gave away all three goals in the opening 19 minutes of the game and the Dutchman talked about his side’s failure to execute the gameplan properly, along with a lack of aggression.

Louis van Gaal

Further, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager also stated that he made his feelings known to the players at the half-time break and at the end of the game as well. In his interview, the United boss stated, “I didn’t expect that. I was surprised – not performing to our gameplan, not the will to win. I have not seen that when you are top of the league as United were at the beginning of the weekend]. So I was surprised, amazed – maybe that is a better word. When you give a team like Arsenal so much space to play football, then you know you will lose. We prepared ourselves to play more compact and not losing our aggression, so it was amazing for me. I am very disappointed.

Van Gaal further added that he had no explanation for the brace by Alexis Sánchez scored either side of Mesut Özil’s goal. He added, “I don’t know why it happened. I put the question at half-time and after the match. It is difficult for the players to answer at themoment because they are all in an emotional moment. We have lost, and lost in a way that you cannot lose when you are top of the league. The problems did not start at the back, they started in midfield. Their midfield players, especially Cazorla and Özil, had too much time and space. We also had space behind our defence. When you always put the pressure on, they cannot make their passes so easily. That was our problem in the first half. They were not aggressive. And you have to do it not only with the two in midfield but as a team. You have to be more compact. You need aggression at the moment you have a duel and Arsenal were much more aggressive.

Premier League

The Stoke goalkeeper has had the hype around him for a long time and he is stepping up to fill Asmir Begovic’s place with style. He made a number of key stops to prevent Arsenal and although his side lost, it would have been a lot worse without Butland, who was arguably the man of the match.
The Watford right back had a great game as he managed to keep both Wayne Routledge and Jefferson Montero quiet all afternoon. The latter has caused a lot of defenders problems this season with his pace and direct running, therefore Nyom’s performance shouldn’t be overlooked. He also offered support going forwards and played a key role in Watford’s win.
John Stones has been the subject of a lot of speculation this summer, but he has put his head down and continued to put in consistent performances for Everton. On Saturday, he was incredible as Everton completely outclassed Chelsea in every department. It would have left Chelsea fans and Jose Mourinho wondering what could have been as Stones looks ready to make the step up to a bigger side.
The Dutch international has been playing out of position at centre back, but he is beginning to look like he is meant to play there. He was comfortable against Liverpool and didn’t look out of his depth against some excellent attacking players. He also managed to score at the other end, with a wonderfully placed finish.
The Southampton left back is the latest to come through the club’s famous youth academy and establish himself in the first eleven. He has become a regular in the side, which is bad news for Ryan Bertrand, who will be facing a real test to get his place back in the starting eleven when he returns from his knee injury. On Saturday, Targett played a key role in getting his side a clean sheet with some excellent tackles, while his reading of the game was excellent.

santi cazorla

Arsenal have had a mixed start to the season, but they gave an accomplished performance to beat Stoke on Saturday and they were unlucky not to score more than the two goals that they managed. Cazorla ran the game in the midfield and opened the opposition up on a number of occasions, including an assist for Olivier Giroud late on.
Mark Noble has been one of the most consistent players in the Premier League over the last few seasons and he once again played a vital role in a West Ham victory. He assisted Payet’s first goal and dominated Jack Colback and Vurnon Anita in the Newcastle midfield. His reading of the game was excellent, as was highlighted by his ability to intercept the ball on a number of occasions.

The Leicester winger had an incredible start to the season, contributing six goals in his opening five matches. The Foxes have had a great beginning to the campaign and Mahrez has been central to that. Every side needs a player who can produce in the final third and that is what Mahrez is to Leicester. At the weekend, he produced when the game was going against his side, which highlights his good mentality. He managed to produce two of the three goals and he was at the centre of all the Leicester attacking play.

The Everton forward has been a key part of the squad at Goodison Park over the last few seasons. He isn’t the most talented player, but he always puts in 100% and he can always be relied upon for a good number of goals every season. He came on after an early injury and never looked back as he became the first player to score a hat-trick against Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side. His movement in the final third was always smart and he made the Chelsea defence look ordinary at times. The Scottish international is a good finisher when chances come his way and he displayed that on Saturday.
Dimitri Payet highlighted why he should be considered for the French national side after voicing his disappointment at being left out of the previous squad. He ran the show on Monday against Newcastle, scoring two goals. The first goal was a wonder strike, while the second showed his intelligent movement as he was in the right place at the right time. He could turn out to be one of the signings of the summer if he maintains his form.
After his breakthrough into the England squad, Jamie Vardy continues to impress for Leicester with his tireless style of play, while he is adding goals to his game. Last season he struggled to score, but he already has three goals and that is due to his improved movement in the final third. If he continues to play well for his club, Vardy should be a certainty for Euro 2016.

The players from Chelsea loved Rugby Style, Lucky Zodiac and Forsaken Kingdom especially. They said that these games were really fun, and all of them definitely mentioned the rugby game!

The players from Arsenal football club love Terminator two, Max Damage and Cricket Star. It seems that these players were a little more in to cricket than their counterparts from Chelsea.

EPL Team Of The Week For Gameweek 4

Premier League

Tim Howard:

The Everton goalkeeper was on top form as Everton held Tottenham to a goalless draw at Goodison Park. He made six saves, including an excellent stop to prevent Harry Kane from scoring in a one-on-one opportunity. The American has had a tricky year, but he is beginning to become consistent once again and has started the season in great form. Everton have showed in their first four matches that they will be a danger once again this season and the Toffees could be contenders to break back into the top seven after the Europa League stunted their progress in the 2014/15 campaign.

Joel Ward:
Crystal Palace managed to shock the Premier League as they went to Stamford Bridge and inflicted only the second defeat at Stamford Bridge under Jose Mourinho. The Champions haven’t started the season well, but that shouldn’t take away from Palace’s performance as they were a different class on the day. Joel Ward has been a consistent player for the Eagles since their promotion back to the top flight and he was a major part of their victory. He was very good defensively, making some crucial tackles and blocks to prevent Chelsea. At the other end of the pitch, Ward contributed to attacks and made the crucial contribution of grabbing the winning goal with a header.
Jose Fonte:
Southampton have looked vulnerable defensively this season and need to strengthen after losing Toby Alderweireld. Virgil van Dijk looks set to come in and could be an excellent partner for Jose Fonte, who was brilliant at the weekend. Southampton’s back four limited Norwich City to just one shot on target, and a lot of that was down to Fonte’s organisation and leadership skills at the back. He was dominant aerially and there were signs that Southampton are coming back to form defensively and that will be crucial if they are to have another strong season.
Jan Vertonghen:
Tottenham haven’t had a great start to their season, picking up just three points to date. A positive for Spurs fans is that they are looking a lot stronger at the back, and the signing of Toby Alderweireld could turn out to be a masterstroke. His signing looks set to bring out the best in Jan Vertonghen, who looked classy and solid at the weekend. He starts a lot of the side’s attacks and has a great passing range for a centre back. His defensive display was excellent as he kept Romelu Lukaku quiet all afternoon with the striker not getting a sniff of the goal.
Aaron Cresswell:
West Ham have looked shaky at the back for the beginning of the season, but they were excellent at Anfield, keeping a clean sheet against one of the best attacks in the Premier League. He managed to get an assist, which showed his attacking quality going forward. He had a great first season at Upton Park and he is back to his former self on Saturday, putting in dangerous crosses and looking solid when defending.
Francis Coquelin:
The Arsenal defensive midfielder was back on form as his side managed to grab a tight win against ten man Newcastle. As they were facing ten men, Coquelin could be more expressive than usual and he displayed his impressive passing range. He was also excellent at breaking up the play and prevented Newcastle from having any meaningful possession. The Frenchman has been criticised in the early stages of the season, but he showed his worth to the side on Saturday and he will be hoping that this is the beginning of another brilliant run of form.
Manchester City have started the season in great form and have emerged as early favourites to regain their crown. Fernandinho had an under par second season, but he has started this campaign in excellent form. He was calm in possession and was the perfect foil for Yaya Toure as the pair took turns to join attacks. He scored the second goal of the game with a great finish, which was his second for the season already, highlighting Manchester City’s goal threat across the pitch.
Andre Ayew:
The former Marseille star showed his Champions League experience on Sunday as he played a key part in Swansea’s win over Manchester United. He managed to score his second header of the campaign and also get an excellent assist for the in form Bafetimbi Gomis. His play in the final third made him unplayable at times as he tortured a defence which had previously conceded no goals this season. In his early performances, he has showed that he could be one of the signings of the season.
Manuel Lanzini:
There has been a lot of talk about West Ham bringing in Dimitri Payet over the summer, but the addition of Manuel Lanzini could be equally impressive. The Argentine arrived at Upton Park with little fanfare, but on his Premier League debut, he showed his quality and played a pivotal role in the club’s convincing victory over Liverpool at Anfield. He scored a good goal and assisted another, which highlighted his ability in the final third. If West Ham can manage to get him and Payet on form consistently, they will cause a lot of problems in this division, as they have already showed against Arsenal and Liverpool.
Bakary Sako
Bakary Sako has been linked with a move to the top flight for years after an impressive spell in the Football League with Wolves. He finally made the jump this summer to join the revolution at Crystal Palace under Alan Pardew, which was a brilliant move for the winger. His pace made him difficult to deal with for Chelsea, and he tested Thibaut Courtois on a few occasions. He scored the opening goal after slotting in from Yannick Bolasie’s cross. He is beginning to claim a starting position in the Crystal Palace side and he will prove to be an excellent piece of business for Alan Pardew.
Bafetimbi Gomis:
The Swansea forward has stepped into Wilfried Bony’s shoes and is the in form striker in the division at the moment. He has scored nine goals in his last ten appearances, and he looks set to hit a high tally for the season with the service he is getting at the moment. He showed his finishing quality with the winning goal as he slotted past Sergio Romero in goal. It wasn’t pretty, but it was effective. His link up play makes him the perfect striker for Swansea, and he will continue to impress if he stays fit. The Frenchman could even make a shock return to the French side if he continues to put in match-winning performances.

One Deal Done, Next To Follow For Manchester United

It seems that the departures of Jonny Evans and Victor Valdes could be the only remaining business that Premier League giants Manchester United might do this summer. Though manager Louis van Gaal is still in pursuit of adding high quality reinforcements to his current squad, the Old Trafford faithful believe that the two departures could be the only deals that might happen now.

The Red Devils have been linked with a number of big strikers, as the Dutch manager is keen to compete for some major silverware this season.

However, Van Gaal is adamant to only sign players who will make a difference to his cause, which include Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller and Southampton winger Sadio Mane, though the clubs are not keen on selling any time soon.

Further, David de Gea is also exiled from the squad following constant interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid, though it seems he might not be moving away yet, as the club does not wish to comprise on his fee amount.

United will rather look to offload the former Barcelona star, Valdes and while Evans has come from the club’s youth team, has failed to impress in recent times to get a place in the starting eleven.

Valdes could be heading to Turkey with Besiktas interested, whereas West Brom have agreed a fee of £6m plus £2m in add-ons with Manchester United to sign defender Jonny Evans. The Irish International will be travelling to the Midlands later today and will complete his move over the weekend.

Liverpool v West Ham: Lineups, Preview And Prediction

Liverpool v West Ham

Saturday 29th August, 15:00

Liverpool come into this weekend’s fixture as one of six remaining unbeaten sides in the Premier League after the first three rounds of matches. Their perfect record was brought to a halt in their last match having failed to score against Arsenal, twice hitting the woodwork. They will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend to maintain their strong start to the season that has yet to see them concede a goal.

West Ham come into this tough fixture following back-to-back defeats, but will be looking to get back to winning ways. Their opening day victory away at Arsenal shows us that West Ham have the capability of coming away from a big club with all three points, and the positive memory of that win should serve them in good stead for their visit to Anfield.

A lot of people are going to have their eye on the attacking midfield talent on display in this match, in particular Dimitri Payet and Philippe Coutinho. Coutinho has made a solid start to the season, finding the back of the net once, completing seven dribbles, racking up four interceptions and 86 passes completed. He will be a vital weapon in the Reds’ armory going forward, as demonstrated by the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index.

Payet, according the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index, may have had an even better start to the season than Coutinho. The summer signing has scored with his only attempt on goal, and whilst he has only completed six dribbles, he has completed 60% of his overall tally in comparison to Coutinho’s 53.8%. He has also put 29 crosses into the box, which is 24 more than Coutinho, and completed 12 more passes that the Liverpool man. Either way, this is likely to be a key encounter come Saturday.

Further forward still, it will be interesting to see who gets the edge in the battle of the strikers between Liverpool new boy Christian Benteke and the Hammers’ Diafra Sakho. Benteke, according to the EA SPORTS Player Perofmrance Index, has netted once this season from seven shots, of which four have hit the target. He has also showed his quality both on and off the ball by completing four dribbles and winning four tackles respectively. He is 19/20 to score anytime with

Sakho’s statistics are alarmingly similar to those of Benteke, as revealed by the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index. Sakho has likewise hit the target with four of his seven attempts this season, and also completed four dribbles. Unlike Benteke, however, Sakho is yet to find the net, but will be hoping to at least even up that tally this weekend with his first of the season. He is 37/10 to score anytime with

Liverpool v West Ham Possible Starting Lineups:

Liverpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Lovren, Skrtel, Gomez; Lucas, Milner, Can; Firmino, Coutinho; Benteke

West Ham: Randolph; Tomkins, Ogbonna, Reid, Cresswell; Noble, Kouyate, Obiang, Payet, Jarvis; Sakho

  • The Hammers have scored just seven goals in their last 30 league visits to Anfield, failing to find the net on 24 occasions.
  • It is more than nine years since a West Ham player scored in a Premier League match at Anfield: Bobby Zamora in a 2-1 defeat in August 2006. The Hammers’ only Premier League goal at Anfield since then was a Martin Skrtel own goal in the 4-1 loss in December 2013.
  • Liverpool have won nine and lost only two of their last 14 Premier League games at Anfield, with only Sunderland keeping a clean sheet during that run.
